The object's story and details
The Curier Rapid lamp has a shade made in papier-mâché from parcel boxes. The copper-leaf interior reflects light upwards.
The open shade brings together the texture of moulded cardboard and the reflections inside. Its name retains the packaging’s origins: material that once protected parcels becomes the visible part of a light fitting.
Materials: papier-mâché made from recycled cardboard
Dimensions
- Sphere: 45 cm at its widest point
- Stem: 45 cm
