The object's story and details
The Împreună lamp has four faces at its base, carved from walnut reclaimed from a wardrobe door. Above them sits a shade made from recycled cardboard in papier-mâché. Its name, meaning Together, comes from the way the four faces support the same light.
The faces remain visible in the sculptural base, each with its own place in the whole. The meeting of reclaimed wood and a cardboard shade carries the idea in the name into the construction itself.
