The object's story and details
A white figure with wings and a raised hand is modelled in papier-mâché relief. Dublul paradox al existenței draws on a blunt Romanian expression about wanting mutually exclusive things at the same time.
The wings and the figure’s gesture keep both directions of the expression visible. The relief gives substance to the contradiction, allowing the image to be recognised before it is explained.
Dimensions: 29 × 31 cm
