The object's story and details
A rooster modelled in relief from recycled cardboard in papier-mâché. It has a green body, a red comb and a decorated tail, in a composition inspired by farmyard birds.
Colours and ornament move the bird from an everyday representation into a decorative pattern. The relief keeps the rooster recognisable and brings cardboard’s texture into the meeting of form and painting.
Dimensions: 35 × 28 cm
