The object's story and details
The Scaunul Florăresei pendant lamp combines papier-mâché made from reclaimed materials with the seat of a chair given to me by a floral designer. I kept the seat until I found a place for it in this piece. Its shape cannot be reproduced exactly with other materials.
The chair seat keeps its recognisable shape and becomes the starting point of the new object. Materials gathered over time give the pendant light an expression belonging to this combination and this particular piece.
