The object's story and details
“Lumini din Codru” is a wall light with mushroom-inspired forms, modelled by hand from recycled cardboard using papier-mâché. It was created for the “Ecouri și Lumini” exhibition.
Botanical forms become volumes projecting from the wall, bringing light and sculptural surfaces together. Reclaimed cardboard becomes a material for an image of the forest, keeping inspiration and a new use within the same object.
