The object's story and details
Two horses bring their muzzles together and hold decorated red eggs between their hooves. The work playfully illustrates the Romanian expression “at the horses' Easter”, about something postponed forever.
Red eggs place the scene within an impossible celebration, the very source of the saying’s humour. The horses’ closeness keeps a gentle image for words about things that never seem to happen.
Dimensions: 32 × 27 cm
