The object's story and details
“Comodă Lunatică” is made from reclaimed solid wood, carved and finished by burning. Its pattern emerges through the contrast between dark areas and portions revealing the wood’s warm tones.
The intervention changes the rhythm of the front and puts texture centre stage while retaining the sideboard’s storage function. Old material is worked again and given its own visual expression in a piece of furniture.
