The object's story and details
A ring carved from walnut reclaimed from a wardrobe door.
The wood comes from Mrs Maria's wardrobe, donated to the workshop in 2023. The same doors became a lamp, a mirror and a console table; the offcuts became jewellery. Each piece follows the shape and grain of its own fragment of wood and cannot be reproduced exactly.
I spent more than 25 hours making this ring.
