The object's story and details
A crouching figure sits beneath a four-leaf clover. I modelled the scene in papier-mâché from reclaimed packaging, starting with an ironic Romanian wish: “may luck strike you”.
The clover and the figure’s posture retain the comic tension between a good wish and the way it is spoken. Luck appears as an object above a very human state of mind.
