The object's story and details
The Vârtej lamp has a body made from recycled paper and cardboard in papier-mâché. Undulating layers suggest the movement of wind, and the interior is finished with copper leaf. Part of the Lumini din Natură collection.
Movement is suggested by the arrangement of layers while the object retains paper’s texture. Copper inside adds another tone to the same shape and complements the undulating surface.
