The object's story and details
The Luna pendant lamp has a papier-mâché shade decorated with gold-coloured metal leaf. I used a monitor's cardboard packaging and supermarket leaflets. The sphere is 22 cm high and 29 cm in diameter.
The shade retains its round form and the contrast between modelled paper and metallic finish. Everyday packaging comes together in a light fitting whose name recalls that familiar geometry.
