Mi-a făcut capul pătrat wall art

A face whose head has turned into a cube gives form to the Romanian expression “they've made my head square”. Modelled from recycled cardboard and flour, the bas-relief is about the exhaustion of taking in too much information at once.

Geometry changes the outline of a familiar face while retaining the expression’s humour. Texture and the cube’s edges bring together a sense of mental effort and a very tangible object.

Technique: Hardened papier-mâché bas-relief made from recycled cardboard and flour, dried in an oven

Dimensions: 30 × 26 cm
