The object's story and details
A figure with an egg for a head and a bottle labelled “Oțet Mizil” for a body stands with its hands on its hips. This papier-mâché work illustrates a Romanian expression about giving someone a harsh telling-off: “making them with egg and vinegar”.
Egg and bottle build the character from two kitchen objects. The inscription keeps things familiar, while the posture brings the energy of an angry remark into the scene.
