The object's story and details
A blue-eyed dog rests its muzzle on its paws. Modelled in papier-mâché from recycled materials, the work draws on a Romanian expression about silencing someone: “putting their muzzle on their paws”.
The dog’s posture looks quiet, in contrast with the saying’s meaning. Face and paws tell the scene, playing between a familiar gesture and a remark about power and silence.
