The object's story and details
Același aluat — Made of the Same Dough — combines embroidery of a hora dance with small papier-mâché figures connected to it by threads. The figures emerge from a little box and climb towards the line of dancers. The work is about what we inherit and the place we seek in a community.
Threads make the connection between figures and embroidery visible, like a route towards the group. Materials and differing scales bring handwork together with the idea of continuity between people.
