The object's story and details
A foot in a black sock decorated with red mushrooms presses on a light bulb. This papier-mâché work illustrates the Romanian expression “stepping on the bulb”: making a mistake that doesn't go unnoticed.
The mushroom pattern keeps a playful note in the action named by the title. Bulb and foot fix the moment in an image where the expression’s meaning is accompanied by details discovered up close.
Dimensions: 33 × 34 cm
