The object's story and details
I rescued the Ciuperci din Militari lamps from a box of discarded objects and remade their shades in papier-mâché using recycled cardboard.
Recovery preserved the existing bodies and paired them with newly modelled shades. The name fixes where the story begins, while the materials remain recognisable in the new ensemble.
Height 33 cm
Shade diameter 22 cm
Materials: metal, glass, papier-mâché made from recycled cardboard.
