The object's story and details
The Lalea la Ofertă floor lamp has two shades and a stem with a white marble base. I used 12 supermarket leaflets and five light-bulb boxes to make the shades. The light points towards the ceiling, just as I imagined when I started the piece.
The name keeps a link to the printed offers that became material. The two shades and the direction of light shape the lamp together, with its marble base remaining a reference point.
