The object's story and details
A white papier-mâché relief with a vertical seam and black dots around it. It starts from the Romanian saying “sewn with white thread”, about an attempt to hide something that remains obvious.
The seam becomes the composition’s centre, with white and black dots drawing the eye to the seemingly repaired area. Recycled cardboard and flour are shaped and then baked in an oven. A familiar saying gains texture and volume.
